"I. Drawing specification of mould drawing and practice of joint research mould

In the process of drawing mold drawings, Heyan Mold strictly follows the national drawing standards and integrates the unique standards of our factory with the factory's customary drawing methods that are not explicitly specified in the national standards to ensure the accuracy and practicality of the drawings. As a prerequisite for the mold assembly drawing, drawing a process diagram not only needs to meet the requirements of the part drawing and process data, but also needs to be specifically labeled with the "process dimensions" guaranteed by the next process to clarify the processing boundaries. If only burrs need to be removed without additional mechanical processing after the part is formed, the process diagram is directly equivalent to the part diagram. In addition, it is recommended to clearly label the part number, name, material, material shrinkage rate, and drawing scale below the process diagram for ease of subsequent production and management. Usually, this information is combined with the mold assembly drawing to improve work efficiency.

1. Drawing of mold assembly structure diagram

When drawing the final assembly drawing of the joint research mold, a 1:1 scale is preferred, starting from the mold cavity and synchronously drawing the main view and other views to ensure the intuitiveness and accuracy of the drawing. The final assembly drawing of the mold should display the following details in detail:

Structure of mold forming part
Layout and form of pouring system and exhaust system
Location of parting surface and method of parting parts
The specific positions of the mold's external structure, connecting components, positioning and guiding components
Dimensions of cavity height (depending on requirements) and overall dimensions of the mold
Configuration of auxiliary tools (such as parts removal and mold removal tools, calibration tools)
Part number arrangement and detailed table filling
Detailed technical requirements and usage instructions
The technical requirements section covers multiple aspects such as the performance of the mold system, assembly process, use of assembly and disassembly methods, oxidation prevention treatment, mold numbering and labeling, storage requirements, and testing and inspection standards, ensuring the full chain quality control of the mold from design to use.

2. Drawing and annotation of part drawings

According to the mold assembly drawing, the joint research mold follows the principle of "from inside to outside, from complex to simple, and from molded parts to structural parts" when disassembling and drawing part drawings. The graphic drawing is strictly proportional, and the view selection is reasonable to ensure the convenience of processing and assembly. Dimensional annotation should be unified, centralized, and orderly, with priority given to annotating the main component dimensions, mold inclination, and fitting dimensions, followed by supplementing all dimensions. The surface roughness is clearly marked, and important information such as part name, mold drawing number, material grade, heat treatment and hardness requirements are filled in detail to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the drawing information.

2, Joint research standards for drawing proofreading, review, tracing, and submission

During the process of proofreading, reviewing, tracing, and submitting drawings, the joint research mold pays special attention to the correspondence between the mold and its parts and the plastic part drawings, ensuring that the material, hardness, dimensional accuracy, and structure fully meet the design requirements. At the same time, conduct in-depth analysis of issues such as fluidity, shrinkage, and weld lines in plastic parts, and evaluate their impact on performance, dimensional accuracy, and surface quality. In addition, attention is also paid to the adaptability of molding equipment, including the matching of parameters such as injection volume, injection pressure, and mold locking force, as well as the feasibility of mold installation and demolding operations.

In terms of mold structure, Heyan Mold strictly controls the design rationality of the parting surface position, demolding method, temperature regulation system, side concave treatment mechanism, and pouring exhaust system to ensure the optimization of mold structure and the realization of functions. The review of design drawings focuses on the rationality of part placement, the accuracy of numbering and naming, the clarity of matching accuracy labeling, and the correctness of view projection. Only after ensuring that the drawings are correct can they be sent for review.

3, Joint research practice of trial mold and mold repair

Although the molding materials and equipment conditions were fully considered in the early stages of mold design, HeYan Mold is well aware of the differences between theory and practice. Therefore, after the mold processing is completed, a trial molding process must be carried out to inspect the quality of the parts and discover potential problems. In response to the adverse phenomena discovered during the trial mold, the joint research mold team will conduct a detailed analysis, first attempting to adjust the molding conditions, and if ineffective, then considering a mold repair plan. The mold repair process is particularly cautious, ensuring that each modification is based on sufficient data analysis and empirical judgment to avoid unnecessary mold changes.

4, Joint research standards for data organization and archiving

After the mold test is qualified, the joint research mold will undergo comprehensive cleaning and rust prevention treatment, and be properly stored. At the same time, the technical data throughout the entire process from design to successful processing will be systematically organized and archived, including but not limited to task sheets, component drawings, technical manuals, mold drawings, design manuals, inspection and trial mold repair records, etc. This approach not only helps with the maintenance and renovation of future molds, but also provides valuable reference and inspiration for the design of new molds.
