1.GeneralGuidelinesforMaintenance
This chapter is about all maintenance work required to ensure trouble-free operation of the mold. Implementing these prescribed routine maintenance tasks and recommendations can significantly extend the service life of the PET preform mold.
In addition tothe main tenance work in this chapter,the following basic rules should be kept in mind:
·Comply with all relevant safety operating procedures;
The mold isinstalled on the machine and must be routinely maintained;
The entire mold is kept as clean aspossible;
Use plastic, copper or wooden tools when cleaning molds;
Use a clean cloth dampened with medical alcohol to clean the molding surface of the part;
Oil the mold with the recommended lubricating oil;
·The above maintenance guidelines are the best suggestions in ouropinion, but different working procedures or suggestions may also need to depend on the working environment and conditions in which the mold isused.
2.Maintenance plan
Regular maintenance schedules can be broken down into:
·Daily maintenance
·Weekly maintenance
·Maintenance every three months
Generally speaking, the maintenance interval of the mold is determined by the downtime of the injection molding machine.When the mold is not in use, please spray the anti-rustagent(moldingpart).
